Placements & Volunteering Services
The Quiet Mind Centre invites year-round applications for volunteering and placements, embracing diversity to effectively match clients with appropriate therapists. We encourage individuals from various backgrounds, whether holistic practitioners, qualified counsellors, or trainees seeking experience, to contribute their skills and support accessible mental health services.

Please contact Chloe on chloeneilqmc@outlook.com if you wish to volunteer as a complimentary therapist, or for other relevant enquiries.

Please use the form above a specify your qualifications. We would love to hear from you
We find that, sometimes, qualified counsellors like to volunteer with us after being away for some time, before they head back to running their private practice again.

The Quiet Mind Centre regularly accepts placement students and welcomes applicants throughout the year. Our students come from a variety of colleges but many come from local ones. This can be a real advantage as students often get the opportunity to talk to others on the same course, sometimes in different years. There is a counsellor peer-support group who meet independently of The Quiet Mind Centre staff and engage in their own WhatsApp group.
Starting out can be intimidating as a student and we do our best as a centre to provide a calm, welcoming space for you to thrive.
Please do give us a call or send us an email to quietmind@tiscali.co.uk, if you’d like to chat.

Do you have a spare morning or afternoon a week? Are you looking for a way to support the local community, particularly those in need?
We’d love to hear from you. Please give us a call or send an email to ask about any vacancies we currently have in our office.

We’re looking for some committed individuals to join our board of trustees and directors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference within our organisation. A mixture of backgrounds across our board is the goal - we want representation on a broad spectrum. Whatever you can bring to the table, we’d love to chat.
